HSG’s Mario Gousse and Andy Leak were invited by the Frontline Club to speak at an event entitled “Reconstructing Haiti”. They were joined by a panel of experts from the humanitarian aid community and reporters who covered the earthquake and the subsequent reconstruction efforts to examine why – after three years and $15.3 billion – the country is still in crisis. Chaired by award-winning journalist Inigo Gilmore, the panel included the writer and reporter Jonathan Katz and Arjan Hehenkamp, General Director of Medecins Sans Frontières (Dutch section).
