The David Nicholls Memorial Trust Annual Lecture: ‘New’ Governors of the Dew – Professor Andrew Leak, University College London
The Trustees of the David Nicholls Memorial Trust are delighted to invite you to the 18th Annual David Nicholls Memorial Lecture to be held on Monday 16th October, 2017, at Regent’s Park College, Oxford. All welcome.
The lecture will be delivered by Haiti Support Group Secretary and UCL Professor Andrew Leak, who will address contemporary challenges facing the Haitian peasantry in the light of Roumain’s novel and the work of David Nicholls.
The lecture starts at 5.00pm, with tea and refreshments available from 4.00pm. A drinks reception will be held following the lecture at 6.30pm, with an informal dinner also at Regent’s Park College at 7.00pm. The cost of the dinner will be £10 – advance booking is not required.
