AfroKarib: The Haitian Chapter
AfroKarib will be the first installation of a series of events that will explore and illuminate the French Caribbean in a cultural and social context. AfroKarib: The Haiti Chapter will take place on Sunday 31 May until 2 June 2014.
The launch will commence at 3 p.m. and will be an afternoon of Haitian inspired discussion, film, dance, music and food. To register for more information and a free ticket, please click here.
The programme includes:
– Leah Gordon @leahgordonuk who will show a film projection followed by discussions
– DavidX will be playing Haitian inspired beatboxing
– Dance performance with Pia
After the event, there will be a party from 8 p.m. until midnight with DJ Oli. Entry will be £5 on the door.
