The Haiti Support Group joins the Sri Lanka Campaign in its efforts to stop the deployment of 900 Sri Lankan soldiers and 140 Sri Lankan police officers to Haiti as part of the UN-mandated Gang Suppression Forces (GSF)

Humanitarian crime has been committed time and time again in Haiti, including under UN-mandated missions. Human rights compliance mechanisms, as the one recently announced by the British government, will not in themselves prevent abuses, or address past impunity.
