Ex-Dictator “Baby Doc” Duvalier Death Won’t End Victims’ Quest for Justice.

Democracy Now gives its commentary on the recent death of Jean-Claude Duvalier who ruled Haiti from 1971 to 1986. It reports on how Duvalier was a close ally of the United States and that he died just months after a Haitian court ruled that he could be charged with crimes against humanity under international law. The video features interviews with Haitian activist and writer Jean Saint-Vil and journalist Amy Wilentz, author of “The Rainy Season: Haiti Since Duvalier”.
